The dust had yet to settle on the C.C. Sabathia-to-the-Brewers trade when the Cubs made a trade of their own, securing the services of Athletics righthanders Rich Harden and Chad Gaudin for righthander Sean Gallagher, left fielder Matt Murton, second baseman Eric Patterson and catcher Josh Donaldson.
